#1. Two dogs, twice the refills.

A big dog drinks about 1 oz per pound a day (AKC). Two of them can empty a big bowl before lunch — and leave it full of crumbs and slobber when they do.

#2. A 3-gallon jug fixes the refills. Not what floats in it.

It’s still a jug of still water, with everything they drop sitting in the dish underneath — and it still has to come apart and be scrubbed. Capacity was never the whole problem.

#3. In most fountains, crumbs just sit there. In this one, they spin down a drain.

It holds 11 L — almost 3 gallons — and the bowl never sits still: water rises from the pump, sweeps across and spins down a drain in the middle. Whatever floats on top is pulled down to the filter in seconds, instead of sitting where he drinks next.

#4. Two filters catch what he leaves behind.

On the way down, the water runs through a foam pre-filter and a two-layer cartridge before the pump sends it back up. The mess ends up on the filter, where you can see it — not in his next drink.

#5. It tops itself up when the bowl runs low.

The bowl holds 5 L; a sealed back tank keeps another 6 L clean. When the bowl runs low, the light turns red and about 2 L pours in, then it goes back to blue. There’s still water at 2 PM — and you fill the back tank every few days, not the bowl every few hours.*

#6. Rinse two filters once a week. Not a bowl four times a day.

Lift the bowl off, pull out the filters and rinse them under the tap. Most owners do it about once a week; heavy droolers more often. Replace every 1–2 months — three sets come in the box.

#7. Raised for big dogs. Small ones still reach it.

The bowl sits at big-dog height, so big heads don’t have to stoop to the floor — and puppies can still stand up to it.

What Owners Keep Saying

I got five German shepherds and they love it. It’s been way better than filling bowls three times a day. Where can I get filters though?

Frequently Asked Questions

Most fountains move the water. This one pulls it down a vortex in the middle of the bowl and through two filters, so what floats on top doesn’t stay on top. A separate 6 L tank keeps clean water waiting and tops the bowl up.

Owners of one or two big dogs usually refill every few days. Three or more big dogs, or a hot week, means more often. The light turns red when the bowl is low.

Yes — about 2 L at a time from the back tank. Set it on a flat, hard floor, fill both tanks the first time, and make sure the power plug clicks all the way in. There is also a button to top up by hand.

Rinse them about once a week (more often for heavy droolers) and replace every 1–2 months. Three sets come in the box, and spare 6-packs are available in our store.

The pump is quiet. When it tops up you will hear a short waterfall. Some dogs take a few hours to a day to get used to it — dropping in a few treats helps.

It runs on a pump, so the bowl drains back into the tank when the power is off. If you will be away for a long time, leave a backup bowl down too.

The basin is raised for big dogs, and puppies and small dogs can still reach it.

The bowl, the filters and both tanks lift out and rinse under a tap. The pump base wipes clean with a damp cloth. A cleaning brush is included.

Every order comes with a 30-day free trial, plus an extra year of warranty.
